Featured Tri-State Artist: Sandi Kimmel's "Transitions"

There's a certain comfort in the simplicity of one voice and one guitar. Sandi Kimmel's debut CD Transitions is just that: comforting!

"Transitions" is the result of Sandi's work as a music healer performing in hospitals, libraries, schools and coffeehouses. Each song maps spiritual unfolding; the loss of a loved one, the birth of a child, the surrender to Spirit, the delight of feeling the support of Angels and Spirit in moments of transition. One song lyric is dictated from Archangel Michael.

Her alto vocals are rich and warm, like melted butter. The melodies and arrangements harken the innocence and goodwill of 60's artists like Peter, Paul and Mary. In that spirit, Sandi concludes her time with the listener with a "thank you to God."
