Singer-songwriter/ music healer Sandi Kimmel uplifts and inspires audiences worldwide with her "heart and soul" music. This modern day minstrel, described as "a cross
between Irving Berlin and Joan Baez," uses her guitar and her voice to create music that serves as a touchstone in troubled times. Sandi's newest CD, Music In My Soul, showcases her
talent as a writer and performer, with rich acoustic production and full instrumentation. Included on the CD is "What Color Is Spirit?" released last fall in response to 9/11. A songwriter and guitarist since childhood, Sandi developed her own unique sound that combines
influences in pop, gospel, musical theater, jazz and folk, and honed her craft at the Songwriters Guild, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and the prestigious BMI Musical Theater Workshop.
Sandi writes songs people sing, and her positive and uplifting messages, coupled with infectious melodies, are quickly becoming the songs of the emerging spiritual movement.
"People tell me these songs help them define what they believe in, " says Sandi. "They come from the truth of my journey and what I've come to believe about the nature of the Universe and the power of
love. These songs open the heart and touch a deep place of knowing inside." Sandi's work as a music healer resulted in her first CD,
Transitions, intended to help the world heal, a song at a time. Transitions has sold thousands of copies around the world since its release in 2000, and is
recognized and valued in many healthcare settings for its healing properties.A natural "uplifter," Sandi's music ministry includes bringing her non-denominational workshop, Spirit, Story & Song
, to audiences of all ages in concert halls, churches, synagogues and other spiritual
centers, conferences, hospitals, recovery centers, schools, spas and retreat centers, nursing homes and senior residences. She also shares her music and her heart as a hospice volunteer, to support patients as
they prepare for their transition.Sandi left her corporate career as a public relations executive with Fortune 500 companies including Texaco and Prodigy in 1993, seeking
deeper meaning and determined to live an authentic life, wherever that would lead her. Her journey of self-discovery included being both a student and teacher of meditation and yoga, as well as writing articles
for publications such as Family Circle
. Stories about her experiences appear on her website, www.musichealer.com, which also includes samples of her CDs, concert information, and more. For bookings, CDs or information, contact Sterling Heart Music, PO Box
